1. Right of Withdrawal
Anyone who buys online may withdraw from the purchase within 7 calendar days, without giving a reason (Brazilian Consumer Defense Code, art. 49). At PearlPost, this right applies to:
- The purchase of a paid plan, counted from the payment confirmation.
- An upgrade (a change to a more expensive plan), which is a new purchase with its own 7 days.
Within that period, you get the full amount of that purchase back.
2. Renewals
The automatic renewal of a subscription is not a new purchase and is not refunded. You may cancel at any time: the next renewal is no longer charged and the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
3. How to Request a Refund
Use any of these ways, within the 7 days:
- In the app: in Account → More Options → Sensitive Options → My Subscription → "Request Refund". The refund is made right away, with no manual review.
- At our payment processor: through the processor's refund page, with the email used for the purchase. See also the payment processor's refund policy.
- By email: write to support@pearlpost.io with the email of your account.
The refund in the app is automatic once every 12 months per account. If the account already had a refund or a chargeback in that period, the button does not show, but the withdrawal right still stands: request it at the payment processor or by email, within the same 7 days.
4. What Happens Next
- The subscription ends right away and the account goes back to the free plan, with its limits.
- The Pearl Tokens balance of the paid plan expires.
- Nothing you created is deleted, but whatever exceeds the free plan's limits is blocked for new use (for example, new uploads while storage is over the limit).
- The refund of an upgrade returns the amount of the upgrade and ends the subscription: the previous plan does not come back.
5. Refund Timing
The amount goes back through the same payment method used for the purchase. The timing depends on the method: Pix is usually fast, and on a credit card the refund may take up to two statements to show.
6. Card Disputes (Chargeback)
A dispute opened with your bank or card issuer ends the subscription and takes the account back to the free plan, like a refund.
7. Account Deletion
Deleting the account cancels the paid subscription, without a refund of the current period. If the purchase is less than 7 days old, request the refund before deleting the account.
